CHENNAI: Actor Shah Rukh Khan is now in Chennai to participate in the latest schedule of his upcoming film Jawan directed by Atlee. “The scene will feature a high action fight sequence between Shah Rukh and Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the antagonist in the film. Nayanthara will be joining the sets soon and will complete her portions. Jawan is being currently shot in a massive scale with over 600 junior artistes from Madurai and Tirunelveli. The shoot is taking place at a popular studio on East Coast Road. The entire schedule will be filmed here before the unit moves to Mumbai again later in September,” the source said.

Coincidentally, Rajini, Shah Rukh and Sivakarthikeyan will all shoot in the same studio from next week. “The filming of Jawan, Rajinikanth’s Jailer and Sivakarthikeyan’s Maaveeran will take place in the same studio on the outskirts of the city. The three could meet up taking time off from their shooting schedule and could be the picture of the years. Fans would go gaga seeing their matinee idols in the same frame,” added the source.

Meanwhile, Jawan will also have Deepika Padukone in a cameo. The movie also has Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Sunil Grover in important roles. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music for the film that will hit the screen in June 2, 2023.
