PS-1 vs Baahubali: Tamil Twitterati unhappy with comparison

Several Tamilians weren't happy with the comparison and shared their opinions on the microblogging site.

CHENNAI: A day after director Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1' was released in theatres, a section of Twitterati compared the film with SS Rajamouli's Baahubali which has now started a running discussion on the platform.

Several Tamilians weren't happy with the comparison and shared their opinions on the microblogging site. They reason it by saying that Baahubali was a fantasy film, while Ponniyin Selvan was based on historical personalities adapted from Kalki Krishnamurthy's eponymous novel that had added fictional elements liberally.
