People think Raatchasan is my first film: Vinod Sagar

We tell actor Vinod Sagar that he gave us the chills as the psycho teacher Inbaraj in Ratchasan and his role in the next film Champion as an alcoholic is in contrast.

“Glad you noticed that I played the drunkard in Champion. Not many people did and sometimes that’s a disadvantage. I get into the skin of the character as soon as I listen to the script and prep myself for that. So people really do not know me even after being a part of critically acclaimed films like Orange Mittai and Picchaikaaran. They think Raatchasan is my debut,” he told DT Next.

He also clarified that he had no problem treading a different path because of the his makeovers. “I will continue to do what I want to passionately. It is fine if people don’t recognise me. I have films with Fahadh Faasil and Prithviraj in Malayalam. Apart from that, I also signed Indian 2 before the lockdown and will shoot for it soon. My next release will be Amala Paul’s Cadaver,” he remarked.
