A source in the know of things says, “Director Shivv Mohaa of Zero fame will be directing the remake and the film will be bankrolled by Eagle’s Eye Productions. Kathir will reprise Shane’s character in the original. An official announcement will be made soon.” The film is in the final stages of pre-production and the shooting is expected to go on floors in a month’s time.
