Jagapathi Babu plays Appalasoori in Peddi

The star cast includes Shiva Rajkumar and Divyendu Sharma. Vriddhi Cinemas is backing the project.

Peddi is headlined by Ram Charan and is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. On Monday, the team revealed that Jagapathi Babu will essay the role of Appalasoori in the film, and also released the character poster.

The team recently wrapped up the key schedule in the Delhi shoot. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, marking her second Telugu film after Devara. The star cast includes Shiva Rajkumar and Divyendu Sharma. Vriddhi Cinemas is backing the project.

AR Rahman is composing the music, while Rathnavelu is handling the camera. Navin Nooli is the editor. Peddi will hit the screens on March 27.
