As STR is on a shooting spree, his fans are thrilled about the actor’s comeback and the pace at which he has been working. After wrapping up Eeswaran, four days before the given date, the actor has already started shooting for Maanaadu. Now, a reliable source in the industry told DT Next that Gautham and Simbu will come together for a film next year.
“There have been discussions on the project and is in an early stage. Vels Film International will be bankrolling the project. An official announcement will take place only after the first quarter of 2021.
The film is not a sequel to Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya or Karthik Dial Seitha Enn,” the source said.
Apart from this STR is also in talks with a few other filmmakers including Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is likely to direct the actor under Raaj Kamal Films International.Meanwhile, Gautham will also direct Suriya for Vels Film International.
