The film, which went on floors in July, is nearing completion and makers have now revealed the second look poster of the film. Talking about the film to DT Next, Prithvi says, “Clap won’t be your usual sports-drama. The film talks about many issues an athlete has to deal with. There is also a beautiful track featuring the lead couple.” He adds, “Clap makes us realise that Olympics is not easy.” On the progress of the film, he says, “Almost 90 percent of the film has been completed. We are yet to shoot Aadhi’s flashback portions, which showcases him as an athlete. We are waiting to resume the shoot, as he is in the process of toning down his body. He is working out to reduce more than 10kilos.” Akanksha Singh and Krisha Kurup will play the female leads in the film. “Akanksha Singh will play the role of a hockey player. She will be pairing opposite Aadhi and her role will be an intense one,” he concludes. Bankrolled by IB Karthikeyan of Big Print Pictures, the music of the film will be composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
