Chandini to star opposite Ameer in Narkali

Earlier, we had reported that director Ameer will play the lead in a film titled Narkali, bankrolled by Adam Baava. Now, the makers have revealed that actress Chandini Tamilarasan, who was seen in films like Vil Ambu and Raja Ranguski, has been roped in to play the female lead in the film.

A source says, “Narkali is a political thriller and Ameer will be seen playing a role of a politician. The entire story revolves around Chandini’s character and it will be a performance oriented one.” Directed by VZ Dhorai, major portions of the film had been shot in Chennai. Meanwhile, Chandini is also working on a film titled Anbulla Ghilli, which has a dog playing the role of a protagonist.
