According to reports, Arya will star alongside Sasikumar in the remake. It is said that Arya will reprise the role portrayed by Prithviraj while Sasikumar will reprise Biju Menon. Tamil veteran actor Sarathkumar was earlier reported to have been picked for Biju Menon’s role. More details regarding the rest of the cast and crew will be revealed soon.
Iyappanum Koshiyum revolves around the conflict between Koshy Kurien (Prithviraj Sukumaran), an influential and wealthy ex-military man and Ayyappan Nair (Biju Menon), a sub-inspector. The movie won positive reviews and the performance by the cast was well received.
Arya who was last seen in Kaappaan will soon appear in Teddy. Meanwhile, Sasikumar awaits the release of MGR Magan, Kombu Vecha Singamda, Rajavamsam and Paramaguru.
