Actor Vishal gets engaged to Sai Dhanshika on his birthday, see photos

CHENNAI: A few months ago, at the audio launch of Yogi Da, actor Vishal and Sai Dhanshika made their relationship public and announced that they are set to tie the knot soon. On Friday, which marked Vishal's 48th birthday, the couple's engagement took place at Vishal's residence.

Sharing the news along with engagement pictures on social media, Vishal expressed his joy on this special occasion and thanked his fans and well-wishers for their support.

"Happy to share the good news of my #engagement that happened today with @SaiDhanshika amidst our families. Feeling positive and blessed. Seeking your blessings and good vibes as always, (sic)" he wrote. Later in the day, he said that from now on he will be drawing a strict policy on kissing scenes in the film. Moreover, the wedding will be taking place on an auspicious day in October, where the Nadigar Sangam building will also be inaugurated. Later, in the day Vishal visited temples around Chennai and served annadanam.

Vishal and Sai Dhanshika are said to have met earlier this year and soon confessed their love for each other. On the work front, Vishal has Magudam in the pipeline. Directed by Ravi Arasu, the film’s first look was unveiled on Vinayaka Chaturthi. Bankrolled by RB Choudhary’s Super Good Films, the project features Dushara Vijayan, Anjali, and Thambi Ramaiah in pivotal roles. The next schedule is set to begin in Chennai on September 1.
