A video with the caption “Youth murdered because of administration’s indifference” was uploaded in Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress’s official page. The story circulated along with it is that a schoolteacher, Mohammad Owais hailing from Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, while returning after work started a debate with two vendors Lallan and Ayub regarding the unfair price of the headphones. This led to the thrashing and subsequently the death of the teacher.
That’s surprisingly a real news, but the video accompanying it is an evidence of another interesting news which is, the youth being thrashed deservingly in the viral video, misbehaved with girls and received what was due. This happened in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
In the obligation of stating evidence, the death of teacher occurred in the night and the viral video is clearly shot in broad daylight. This proves that the video and the news doesn’t match.
People sharing videos with good intentions and concern will be much appreciated if the news was thoroughly verified before sharing or uploading it in social media. As we all know fake news travel further and faster.
