A TV channel claimed slogans of ‘Modi’ were raised in the Pakistani parliament last week. “The truth came out that Modi was remembered in the parliament of Pakistan. Many slogans were chanted in his name,” said an anchor on a popular channel. Alt News ran a fact check and found that the TV channel had distorted the actual events in a manner that portrayed Pakistani politicians raising slogans favouring PM Narendra Modi. The truth was the complete opposite.
