TN Covid cases continue to see a down ward trend, recoveries outnumber new cases

While 2,370 new cases were tested positive for COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu nearly 2,402 were discharged after treatment.

Around 2,402 patients were discharged across the State, after recovering from the infection. So far, 7,08,846 recoveries have been recorded in the State.

The State’s COVID-19 aggregate stood at 7,39,147, while the death toll climbed to 11,299 with 27 more patients succumbing to the infection, as on 6th November.

Tamil Nadu recorded the first coronavirus case on March 7, but July, August and September saw a rapid increase in the cases.

The total number of active cases in the State stands at 19,002, as per the Health bulletin.

While the State capital, Chennai recorded 612 new cases today, while the other districts recorded 1,758 cases. 

The covid-19 toll in the State has gone up to 7,39,147, till date.
