Stalin: Weed out ‘outsiders’ from MBBS rank list

DMK president MK Stalin on Wednesday urged the AIADMK regime to weed out the anomalies in the MBBS/BDS rank list and ensure that students of Tamil Nadu get admitted in the state medical colleges. Stalin also demanded a probe into the inclusion of other state students in TN rank list.

Expressing shock at the presence of other states students in the MBBS/BDS rank list, Stalin wondered, “How could the same student feature in the rank list of two states? How did the student obtain separate domicile certificates? How did a student in the rank list of Telangana, Andhra and Kerala also feature in the rank list of Tamil Nadu?” It is disgusting and shameful that state Health Minister Dr C Vijaya Baskar and Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami who defends him for various reasons believe that people would fall for the lies they utter daily, the DMK president remarked, asking the government to immediately set right the anomalies in rank list.
