Six-member gang kills Madras HC advocate at a village in Ariyalur

TIRUCHY: A six-member gang murdered a High Court advocate at T-Pazhur in Ariyalur on Wednesday. S Saminathan (37), practicing as an advocate at Madras High Court, has come to the wedding of his sister, which was scheduled on Wednesday at Anaikudam village near T-Pazhur.

Saminathan after participating in the function went to a nearby hotel. Suddenly, a six-member gang, which came in two bikes attacked Saminathan with lethal weapons and escaped from the spot. Saminathan sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.

A police team led by Jayankondam DSP Kalai Kathiravan rushed to the spot and retrieved the body and sent it to Jayankondam GH. Police registered a case.
