PTR gets NIT-T’s Distinguished Alumni Award

TIRUCHY: Tamil Nadu Finance Minister PTR Palanivel Thiaga Rajan was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by NIT, Tiruchy, on Tuesday.

The award was presented in recognition of excellence in public administration by Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchy (IIM-T) and G Aghila, Director, NIT, Tiruchy.

“I think I have received this award very early. Though I have more banking experience than the public administration, it is heartening to receive from my alma mater where I studied Chemical Engineering,” Thiaga Rajan said.
