PM Modi to visit Chennai to attend closing ceremony of 'En Mann En Makkal' yatra

The yatra which started on July 28, 2023 at Rameswaram will conclude in Chennai on February second week.

CHENNAI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Chennai on February second week, to take part in the closing ceremony of state BJP president K Annamalai's 'En Mann En Makkal' yatra.

According to the senior leaders of Tamil Nadu BJP, "As the Lok Sabha elections are nearing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had visited Tamil Nadu twice in January 2024, will make his third visit to Tamil Nadu this year in the second week of February. Modi will take part in the closing ceremony of Annamalai's 'En Mann En Makkal' yatra."

"We are working to select a venue to hold the public meeting ahead of the closing ceremony of Annamalai's yatra. The venue for the public meeting will be finalised soon and the information about the PM's visit will be officially announced soon, " said a senior leader of state BJP.

The yatra which started on July 28, 2023 at Rameswaram will conclude in Chennai on February second week.

Along with PM Modi, several Union Ministers will also attend the closing ceremony of Annamalai's yatra.

It may be recalled that, Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the launch of the yatra in Rameswaram.
