He said that it was a sheer exaggeration by the media and he is a devoted son of ‘Amma’, who has been a steering spirit behind the present government and so, he would work to achieve her mission.

“It was a public meeting and I was targeting the DMK, which has to be eradicated from the state immediately. When the media questioned about who was the person behind forming the present government, I said as per my conscience (that Sasikala was behind the formation of government),” Sellur K Raju said, in a hasty way and stressed that he stands by the version but will never go against the government.

The rather moved Sellur K Raju also said that the government is “Amma’s government” and the Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has been leading the government on the right path that Amma had wished.

Stating that the vision of the late Chief Minister J Jayalalaithaa that the party and the government should survive for more than 100 years, Sellur Raju said that both Edappadi Palaniswami and the deputy Chief Minister and co-ordinator of the party O Panneerselvam have been taking all right efforts in fulfilment of the vision of their leader and promised that he would support them in achieving the same.
