After the news of Rajinikanth’s hospitalization broke, social media is filled with wishes from his fans and celebrities who are wishing the superstar a speedy recovery. Actor-politician Kamal Haasan took to his Twitter space and wished Rajinikanth a speedy recovery.
Yesterday, a press note was released by the management of Alpollo Hospitals, stating that he is stable and resting. It was also stated that the 70-year-old actor will stay in the hospital and undergo further investigations on Saturday. "Rajinikanth is being monitored closely and medications to control his blood pressure are being carefully titrated," it read.
Rajinikanth was shooting for a movie titled Annaatthe directed by Siruthai Siva for the past 10 days. After 4 crew members of the film tested positive for COVID 19, he had isolated himself and is being monitored. The 70-year-old actor, however, tested negative.
