IPS reshuffle: New heads for Chennai traffic police, TN Fire and Rescue Services

In the latest shuffle of IPS officers in TN, the home department also posted Inspector General of Police, Enforcement, as additional commissioner of police, traffic, Chennai city, in place of R Sudhakar, who is going to join NCB on deputation.

CHENNAI: General of Police Seema Agrawal, heading Civil Supplies CID, has been transferred and posted as director, TN Fire and Rescue Services, Chennai.

In the latest shuffle of IPS officers in TN, the home department also posted Inspector General of Police, Enforcement, as additional commissioner of police, traffic, Chennai city, in place of R Sudhakar, who is going to join NCB on deputation.

Rupesh Kumar Meena, IG, Civil Supplies CID will hold the additional post of DGP, Civil supplies. Inspector General of Police, Vijayendra S Bidari, who has been in vacancy reserve, will take charge as the additional commissioner of police, HQ, Chennai city, in place of Kapil Kumar C Saratkar. According to a press release, Saratkar has been posted as IG, enforcement.

IG Santhosh Kumar, joint director, DVAC, has been transferred and posted as IG, economic offence wing. M Sathya Priya, IG, EOW, has been transferred and posted as IG, Welfare, at office of HoPF, Chennai.

M Durai, deputy Inspector General of Police, Welfare has been transferred and posted as DIG, headquarters.
