DMK MLA Duraimurugan and DMK parliamentary leader TR Balu were elected as the party's General Secretary and Treasurer respectively on Thursday.
Earlier, Duraimurugan resigned his post as the treasurer of the party and filed to contest as the General Gecretary, which was vacant since the death of K Anbazhagan. Likewise, TR Balu filed to contest as the Treasurer.
Both were elected unopposed.
