Noted Businessman turned politician H.Vasanthakumar tested positive for corona virus. Vasantha kumar is the founder and chairman of leading retail home appliances chain, Vasanth & Co. He is currently elected as the Member of Parliament from Kanyakumari constituency, representing Congress Party.
According to reports both Vasantha Kumar and his wife have been tested for corona and are being admitted in Chennai Apollo Hospital for further treatment.
With Vasantha Kumar being tested positive, the number of corona affected MPs in Tamil Nadu has risen to four, including MPs Karthi Chidambaram (Sivagangai), Selvarasu (Nagai) and Ramalingam (Mayiladuthurai).
