CHENNAI: The long-pending demand of bull tamers was fulfilled by Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday. After inaugurating the Jallikattu event at Alanganallur, he made two major announcements for bull tamers and Jallikattu bulls.

One of the key announcements was that bull tamers would be given government jobs in the Animal Husbandry Department on a priority basis.He madecthis announcement addressing a long-standing demand of the bull-taming community.

Announcing the second initiative, the Chief Minister said that a Centre of Excellence, including a clinical and training centre for Jallikattu bulls, would be established at Alanganallur. Earlier, he distributed prizes to the bull tamers for successfully taming the bulls.
