A poem titled ‘Aathadi Deivakutham’ (A sacrilege) described NEET as an agreement which gives equal share for Tamil Nadu people who contribute paddy and those bringing husk. Calling NEET as a conspiracy of other states which lack medical education resources to exploit the higher number of medical seats in TN, the AIADMK organ said the test is discriminatory since it is based on CBSE syllabus.

The poem also said “Only you have the right to disregard the SC verdict,” in an apparent indication of the Centre’s conduct in acting on same court’s verdict on Cauvery. It also blamed the CBSE for arranging outstation centres for the test.
