2,000 Mini testing labs to be set up for corona: TN CM

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy said on Tuesday that it has been decided at the meeting with doctors and health officials that about 2,000 mini testing clinics will be set up across Tamil Nadu to carry out corona testing.

At the end of the consultation, the Chief Minister said corona is gradually decreasing in the state.

“The impact of corona in various districts is gradually beginning to diminish. Corona spread is under control in Tamil Nadu as compared to other states,’ he said.

He added that it has been decided by the officials to set up 2,000 mini clinics across Tamil Nadu for corona testing. Physicians, nurses and medical assistants will be housed in the mini clinics. Mini clinics will be set up in areas where there is no primary health center facility.

He also advised people to wear masks and maintain distancing in public place and stated that those who fail to follow will be fined.
