Local League: Sadiq Pasha, Muthu Kumar shine in TNCA league

Syed Sadiq Pasha played a lone hand for City Central League with a hard fought century after running out of partners at the other end in a TNCA Division IV encounter against T Srinivasaraghavan Memorial SC.

M Atul produced a stunning five-wicket haul to lead Jupiter SC to a convincing 67run win over Madras UC. PrateekBokaria’s excellent bowling figures of 6 for 59 went in vain as the batsmen failed to capitalise on a low score. R Krishna’s 5 for 52 helped Triplicane CC register a comfortable win over Vigneswara CC. 

S Muthu Kumar shone with the ball for Friends XI with figures of 6 for 29 in Division V of the TNCA league. His side eventually drew with Ashok Leyland AA.
