Harish bowls Blessings to win

K Harish (5/25) bagged a five-wicket haul as Blessings MHSS defeated Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Educare by seven wickets in the Chengalpattu District Cricket Association (CDCA) Inter-School Invitational Tournament at the Sumangali Ground.

Fielding first, Blessings MHSS bowled Sri Sathya Sai out for 130 in 22.3 overs, courtesy of Harish’s five-wicket haul. The winning side cruised to its target in 21 overs, losing only three wickets. In another match, M Ramkumar (102) struck a quick-fire century to help Valluvar Gurukulam HSS beat Gateway International School by 48 runs.

BM Global Bollineni Hillside 145 for 6 in 25 overs (M Yathin 40, V Srivatsav 34) beat Mahindra World School 54 all-out in 19.2 overs (Prakul Balaji 4/19);


Kendriya Vidyalaya 264 for 8 in 25 overs (V Yuvan Harsha 44, Alok Pandey 30) beat Government HSS 24 all-out in 9.1 overs;


Valluvar Gurukulam HSS 195 for 7 in 25 overs (M Ramkumar 102, G Antony Sathish 62) beat Gateway International School 147 for 4 in 25 overs (A Shenbaga Balaji 79*).
