PUDUCHERRY: Senior Superintendent of Police Isha Singh, who was recently transferred to Delhi, said she would miss the people of Puducherry and added that she would always cherish moments spent in the Union Territory and Tamil Nadu.

In a social media post responding to messages from residents, the IPS officer said the people of Puducherry were affectionate and that she would miss them, even as she took charge of her new posting.

Isha Singh came into public focus following her role in managing crowd control during a TVK public meeting, getting her Lady Singham tag, held at the Uppalam helipad grounds in Puducherry on December 9.

In charge of regulating entry to the venue, she shouted at TVK general secretary N Anand for breaching entry norms.
