Nayani Krishnakumari passes away

Former Vice Chancellor of Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, eminent writer and scholar Nayani Krishnakumari has passed away at the age of 85.

Distinguished Telugu Litterateur, poet, researcher and speaker Naryani Krishnakumari passed away at her residence in Hyderabad on Saturday morning. She was 85 and is survived by husband Canakapalli Madhusudana Rao, two sons and a daughter.

She started her academic career as lecturer in a women’s college in Madras in 1951. 1952, she moved to Osmania University Women’s College.
