BJP member Sanjay Jaiswal made these remarks when his fellow party members were attacking Gandhi for his "rape in India" barb at the Modi government at an election rally in Jharkhand.

The last day of the Winter Session was drowned in the BJP protests in Lok Sabha.

Quoting the words of philosopher Chanakya, which he claimed are 2000 years old, Jaiswal said that the "child of a foreigner mother can never be a patriot...we see this example."

Without naming Rahul Gandhi or Congress president Sonia Gandhi, he said, "The way he has put the country to shame, no amount of criticism is enough. It is not right when the son of a party president, who is herself a woman, says such a thing."
