Tamil Nadu to launch new scheme to treat people in remote places, says Ma Su

State Health Minister M Subramanian, on Wednesday, said that Chief Minister MK Stalin will launch a scheme named ‘Tholai Thoora Maruthuva Thittam’, to treat people in remote areas.

CHENNAI: State Health Minister M Subramanian, on Wednesday, said that Chief Minister MK Stalin will launch a scheme named ‘Tholai Thoora Maruthuva Thittam’, to treat people in remote areas. 389 mobile units will be deployed to cater for the medical needs of people residing in remote locations. A four-member team consisting of a doctor, a nurse, an assistant and a pharmacist will be part of the mobile units. The scheme will be launched on April 8, Friday. Apart from that, the government will also establish 50 more primary health centres across the state, added the Minister.
