CHENNAI: The Southern Railway has announced revision in schedules and stoppages of AC EMU trains from January 5 (Monday). Train 49005, Chennai Beach-Chengalpattu service will leave Beach at 3:47 pm and reach Tambaram at 4:42 pm.

Train 49006 Chengalpattu-Chennai Beach service will leave Tambaram at 5 pm and reach Beach at 5:55 pm. There is no change in timings of other AC EMU train services. Additional stoppage would be provided for the AC EMU services 49001, 49002, 49007 and 49008 at Urapakkam.

And the timings of 9 EMU trains operated on these routes will also be revised due to the changes in the timings of the AC services, added the release.
