When they convened for a reunion on Friday, they had the Commissioner of Police among them. “It was nostalgic when we sat together on the bench of the same class after 40 years,” noted the city police chief, AK Viswanathan when DT Next contacted him. The Commissioner studied in the school from 1976 to 1979. “I finished Class 10 there. I joined the school halfway through Class 8. I had hopped through 11 different schools in my childhood,” the IPS officer said.

Most of his classmates are from various walks of life. “Some of them are doing business while some are scientists,” the police Commissioner said, adding that they have also planned a dinner together. He also shared that they plan to create a WhatsApp group for the batchmates.
