Gram sabhas permitted on Oct 2

The state government has permitted rural local bodies to conduct gram sabha meetings on Gandhi Jayanthi, October 2.

An announcement made by the state on Monday said the panchayats would be permitted to conduct gram sabha meetings in compliance with the standard operating procedures for COVID-19 in all, but the nine civic poll-bound districts. District Collectors were told to ensure that all panchayats adhere to COVID guidelines while conducting the gram sabha meetings.
