The students, who took a seat through government’s single window counselling for engineering colleges this year, started their classes at respective institutions on Monday. Anna University Registrar Prof S Ganesan, dean (CEG) Dr. P Narayanasamy, dean (AC. Tech) Dr S Sivanesan and other university officials welcomed the students and informed them about the institution and various facilities available in their departments.

“We advised students to attend classes regularly and complete their assignments on a regular basis as  they will be taken into account for assessment. We also asked students to use library facilities and play games after college hours, as it will help students to develop holistically,” said Prof Ganesan.
