Drumsticks get costly, Ooty carrot cheaper at Chennai's Koyambedu market on Nov 23, 2025; check their rates here

CHENNAI: Vegetable prices witnessed sharp fluctuations at Chennai’s Koyambedu wholesale market on Sunday (November 23).

According to traders, the price of drumstick increased by Rs 70 per kg compared to Saturday’s rate. It was selling for Rs 230 per kg and is now priced at Rs 300 per kg.

Tomatoes prices have increased by Rs 10 per kg, going from Rs 50 to Rs 60.

Among the vegetables that became cheaper, Ooty carrot decreased by Rs 10 per kg. It was Rs 50 per kg on November 22 and has now climbed to Rs 60 per kg.

Raw mango prices have dropped by Rs 10 per kg, falling from Rs 50 on Saturday to Rs 40 today.

Snake gourd which were priced at Rs 40 per kg yesterday are selling for Rs 30 today.

Prices of onion (Rs 30 per kg) and potato (Rs 45 per kg) remained unchanged.
