Chennai: Water tanker rams bike, kills delivery man

The victim, Velayutham, was delivering goods when the lorry struck his motorcycle from behind, causing him to fall on the road and suffer fatal head injuries.

CHENNAI: A 50-year-old employee of an app-based delivery company was killed after a water tanker allegedly rammed his motorcycle near Kumananchavadi on Thursday.

The victim, Velayutham, was delivering goods when the lorry struck his motorcycle from behind, causing him to fall on the road and suffer fatal head injuries. The Avadi Traffic Investigation Wing police sent the body for post-mortem examination and arrested the lorry driver.
