CHENNAI: Kollywood actress Amala Paul's former boyfriend Bhavninder Singh was arrested following the actress's complaint against him for allegedly threatening her seeking money. She also claimed she had been shortchanged by him through misappropriation of her funds and assets.
The 'Aadai' actress has said that Singh has put her through mental and financial distress. It is been reported that both of them jointly ran a firm related to movies.
Their relationship had hit the ice with the actress moving to court against Singh in 2020 as he 'misused' their photoshoot images. Amala Paul claimed that the images were posted by Bhavninder Singh as wedding images while it was a photoshoot themed on wedding.
Following Singh's arrest, he has been booked under 16 Sections. Further invesgation is on.
