On Thursday, several reports suggested that Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivn are all set to get married later this month. The reports also said that they will be having a private wedding with a limited number of people at a temple in the city. Several fans of Nayanthara and Vignesh posted congratulatory messages on social media and the news spread like wildfire. When contacted, the actress’ spokesperson, told DT Next, “These are baseless rumours. There is no wedding planned as of now. Both of them are looking to finish their projects and schedule their shoots post lockdown. Their focus is on the movies and these reports can be dismissed as false.”

Nayanthara was last seen in Darbar and has completed the shoot of Mookutthi Amman, directed by RJ Balaji. She also has Netrikann by Milind Rau and will join the shoot of her long time-beau Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal in which she will share screen space with Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi.
