In the video, an American woman from Dallas, walks into a jewellery store with both her children to sell her chain due to a financial crisis. When the store owner, a Syrian migrant, asks the woman “Why do you want to sell it?” the woman responds, “I am totally broke, I won’t get paid until next month.” After inspecting the chain, the store owner asks the woman again if it’s the only reason she’s selling the chain after which he learns that the chain was a gift from the woman’s mother. The man pays the price of the chain and to the woman’s surprise, returns her the chain as well. He says, “You said it’s a gift, take it”. He also writes down his number on a piece of paper and hands it over to the woman saying, “Take my number, if you need anything,” and also tells the woman’s son, “take care of your mother.” The heart-warming video goes out to prove that such generous people do exist — people who make the world a better place.
