Now, Kalaipuli S Thanu, who earlier produced Vetri Maaran’s blockbuster flick Asuran has confirmed that the latter will be teaming up with Suriya for a film and it will be produced under his home banner, V Creations. On Saturday, Thanu wrote, “Post the success of Asuran, director Vetri Maaran will be teaming up with Suriya for the very first time #Suriya40 #theVCreations. I am extremely delighted to produce this flick.” (sic) It is also worth noting that, Thanu has earlier worked with Suriya in two films — Maayavi and Kaakha Kaakha.  Suriya is currently waiting for the release of Soorarai Pottru, directed by Sudha Kongara.
