While there were reports that Sethupathi will be seen locking horns with Vijay in the film, a source in the know of things says that Shanthnu too will be seen playing a negative role. “Shanthnu will play the role of a college student and his character will have a negative streak. He will be a part of Vijay Sethupathi’s gang in the film. It’s too early to talk further about it,” a source says. Recently there were also reports that Vijay will be seen playing the role of a college professor in the film and it will be an out-and-out gangster flick. Meanwhile, we also hear that the team, which is currently shooting at a private college in Delhi, has decided to postponed the schedule due to bad weather. The bad quality of air has forced the team to shoot only a few indoor sequences, eventually affecting the scheduled time.

Malavika Mohanan of Petta fame and Antony Varghese of Angamaly Diaries fame will also be seen in the film.
