CHENNAI: Malayalam superstar Mammootty on January 23 announced his next project titled Padayaatra.
Sharing a poster on social media, the actor wrote, “My next #Padayaatra.”
The poster notes that the film is written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan, and presented by Mammootty Kampany.
Adoor Gopalakrishnan and Mammootty join hands after 32 years with Padayaatra. The duo had earlier worked together in Vidheyan, Anantaram and Mathilukal.
In a separate update, actor Mohanlal announced that he has joined the sets of his upcoming film, titled #L366.
#L366 is directed by Tharun Moorthy and produced by Ashiq Usman.
Sharing pictures from the pooja ceremony and the sets on X, Mohanlal wrote that he is starting the journey with gratitude as he begins work on the project and thanked everyone for their blessings and prayers.
