Tamil Nadu government announces State honours for Solomon Pappaiah

CHENNAI: The State government on Saturday announced that State honours would be accorded during the final rites of Tamil scholar and professor Solomon Pappaiah, who died on Friday at a private hospital in Madurai due to age-related ailments.

The State government has been according State honours during the final rites of Tamil scholars, writers and personalities from the film industry. Following this practice, the government announced State honours for Pappaiah.
