Don’t tarnish your heroic image with lies, Aarti's mother hit backs at Ravi Mohan
Stating that she has always seen Ravi as her own son, Sujatha alleged that he has been avoiding her for the past year.

CHENNAI: Just a couple of days after actor Ravi Mohan’s press release, his mother-in-law and producer Sujatha Vijayakumar has responded sharply, accusing him of falsely blaming her for his financial liabilities.
In a detailed two-page statement, she opened up about the challenges of being a producer and the ongoing struggle to repay the interest on debts incurred from her previous film Siren (2024), which starred Ravi Mohan in the lead.
Stating that she has always seen Ravi as her own son, Sujatha alleged that he has been avoiding her for the past year.
Responding to Ravi's recent statement, she challenged him to provide any proof that she made him legally responsible for his debts. “For the recent films I produced, Bhoomi, Adanga Maru, and Siren, I borrowed over Rs 100 crore from financiers. Of that, 25 per cent was paid to Ravi Mohan as remuneration, and all payments are documented through agreements, bank transfers, and tax records,” she claimed.
She urged Ravi not to tarnish his heroic public image with false accusations. “If people are to sympathise with you during this issue, let it be for the truth, not because of lies,” she stated.
Sujatha also appealed to the media to refrain from portraying her as a cruel mother-in-law, adding, “Now, I am speaking out, not to defend myself, but because if I remain silent, the lies being repeated about me will start to sound like the truth.”
Ravi Mohan and Aarti got married in 2009. After 15 years of marriage, the couple decided to separate. Following this, on September 9, Ravi announced his divorce from Aarti and said the decision was taken after careful consideration for the goodness of all the persons involved.
