Medical counselling for MBBS and BDS courses for the general category has started on Monday and will conclude on December 4.

The counselling was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.

5,441 candidates have applied for 4,944 seats.

Of these candidates, counselling for 361 candidates were held today, the first 15 candidates weren't present for the counselling.

Selection Secretary G Selvarajan has informed that this matter will be closely examined.

While some allege that these candidates would've apparently applied for nativity certificates from two states, to not get caught in counselling they would've been absent.
