TN Elections 2021: TN CM and Deputy CM to meet Shah, alliance talks expected

BJP's senior leader and Home Minister Amit Shah is on a two-day visit to Chennai ahead of Tamil Nadu assembly elections in 2021.

Meeting with Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami and Deputy CM O Panneerselvam may be part of Amit Shah's itinerary.

Being alliance partners with BJP, they may discuss on taking forward the alliance as the saffron party is yet to accept CM Palaniswami as the CM candidate.

Amit Shah will launch Thervoy Kandigai reservoir and Phase- II of the Chennai Metro Rail projects in Kalaivanar Arangam.

The meeting is expected to take place shortly after the launch event in the city's popular star hotel.
