CHENNAI: DMK Rajya Sabha MP ‘Tiruchi’ Siva has been appointed party deputy general secretary, replacing Ponmudy who was been stripped off the post earlier today, following his objectionable remarks.
Chief Minister and DMK president MK Stalin announced Siva’s appointment minutes after sacking Minister Ponmudy.
Tiruchi Siva was the party propaganda secretary.
