Jewellery shop burgled in Bihar

Jewellery worth lakhs of rupees were stolen from a shop at Marhaura Bazar in Saran district last night.

Police said that outlaws stole jewellery worth Rs 4.5 lakh from the shop of one Jitendra Rai on Station Road after breaking open its main door. An FIR had  been lodged against unidentified criminals at Marhaura police station in this  connection.

Raids are being conducted to nab the accused, sources added.
