CHENNAI: When the matter came before Justice Anita Sumanth, Imman submitted that the respondent had obtained fresh passports for his kids to send them abroad to prevent him from visiting the children.

“While I possess the passports of my kids, the respondent applied for new passports claiming that the old ones went missing. I flagged the issue to the regional passport authorities to nullify the new passports obtained for my children in an illegal way. However, the authorities said that they could not pass any order without the direction of the court,” Imman said in his plea.
